Western Identity and Accessing your AQ Course

Your Western Identity is your UWO secure User ID and Countersign.  It is your key to accessing fundamental services at Western (tax receipts, grades, statement of account, updates to personal information including name, address, telephone/e-mail), and is required to admission your AQ class in OWL, Western's Learning Management System.

*Please Annotation: Your Western Identity, which includes your Western educatee number, secure user ID and countersign, is dissimilar from the login used to access your registration profile in the AQ Registration Portal , which requires an email address as the username and a selected password.

If you are new to Western, please run into the steps below to activate your Western Identity.  If you are a previous Western educatee or have taken an AQ with Western before, you already have a secured login and password, you do not need to set up your Western Identity again.  If you take forgotten your information, please follow the Western Identity activation instructions beneath (nether Yes).

Activating your Western Identity

Trying to Access your Class?

Have you previously completed an AQ or Braille Certificate grade, taken an undergraduate or graduate grade with Western or previously applied to the Academy?

Follow these steps to recollect your Western Student number and Access lawmaking required to activate your Western Identity.

  • Obtain your Western Student Number: Log into the AQ Registration Portal
    • Click on your name in the acme correct-paw corner of the screen.
    • Select Contour.  Under Contact, click on your name.
    • Scroll downward and under Program Info you will come across your 9-digit educatee number.
  • Obtain access code: Go to: Student Services.
    • Submit OCT#, Western Pupil number (ID), Birthdate

    • Enter Western Student number in the ID Number field and and then the access code (obtained from steps above)
    • Accept the Acceptable Use Understanding
    • Set security answers
    • Gear up Countersign
    • Activate
    • Record your assigned 'User ID' *A confirmation page will appear upon completion of password reset. Please ensure to tape BOTH your User ID and password.
    • Login volition activate for use within 24 - 48 hours.

Forgot your User ID?

Expectations and Evaluation

Courses are 125 hours in total, every bit required past the Ontario College of Teachers. Finding Your Online Course

Log in to OWL with your Western Identity user ID and password. Once logged in, you will be on the OWL landing page below.
